Darina was born in Kiev, Ukraine. She moved to Poland to study Vocal and Acting on Music Academy in Bydgoszcz, as well as Polish philology in college in Wrocław. Darina received Diploma of acting art with the distinction of Music Academy in Bydgoszcz, Poland. She was an exceptional student, therefore she was invited by Opera Nova for co-work as a guest soloist.
After studies she was a guest soloist of 2 theatres, and a contract soloist of Musical Theatre in Gdynia, where she created unforgettable and unique roles. To mention only Lady Of The Lake from Monty Python's “Spamalot”, performed in Poland right after Broadway's premiere. Or captivating Izabela Łęcka in pre-premiere of the musical "Lalka" ("The Doll") based on polish classical novel by B. Prus.
Now Darina is a soloist of Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
Darina was a participant of multiple master classes, provided by world-known soprano singer Teresa Zylis-Gara. She was performing during the International Master Classes "Baroque Music" provided by Maestro Paul Esswood in Florence, Italy.
Darina acted in national dramatic "Polish Theatre" performances, such as "The Tragedy of Kind Richard the III" by W. Shakespeare, "Auto da Compadecida" ("Testamony Of a Dog") by A. Suassuna, Bydgoszcz, Poland. She also performed with the Contemporary Dance Theatre, Wrocław, Poland.
Darina won Grand Prix on the VII All-Polish Art Song Interpretation Festival, Bydgoszcz, Poland. She received 1st Distinction on the 42 Students Festival of the Song, Cracow, Poland; Honorable Distinction of the 27th Acting Song Preview "New Situations", Wroclaw, Poland. She won Grand Prix on the Festival of Polish Song in Zhytomir, Ukraine, performed during International Music Festival "Malwy", Biala Podlaska, Poland. Darina is a winner of "MTV Summer Festival" singing competition in Kiev, Ukraine / London, England.
